Cheers to Our Newest Employee of the Month – Jamie Pittman

It seems only fitting to highlight our human resources department’s work as we end this most challenging year.

As you may already know, Jamie Pittman is our outstanding HR services manager. The fantastic work at Altus Biologics would not be possible without the tremendous job Jamie does.

This year posed additional challenges to all companies, ours included, but Jamie and her team did a stellar job.

During the most challenging times of the pandemic, Jamie and her team managed to keep us motivated and created a sense of wellbeing that gave us the strength to continue providing the essential services we offer to so many patients.

The Importance of HR to Our Organization

Having an excellent HR department is critical to an employee-oriented company. Our organization revolves around our company culture, which aims to increase productivity while creating a family-like atmosphere where our employees feel engaged and energized.

HR plays a crucial role in developing, reinforcing, and furthering our company culture. Creating a sense of camaraderie and mutual support is not an easy task considering many of our employees work in different cities and work settings. Yet, Jamie Pittman somehow makes us all feel like we are part of the family.

The sense of unity we experience in our jobs is primarily due to the effective communication channels established by our HR department.

Good communication within a company mitigates misunderstandings, enhances client relationships, encourages innovation and creativity, and helps all employees feel part of something bigger.

Therefore, it’s easy to attribute our company’s continued success to our HR team’s extraordinary work.
