Shining a Light on Our Account Management Team
Have you ever wondered what an account manager or an account executive does within our organization? Many of you might be curious because they interact with almost every department within our company.
The answer, as you can imagine, is not a simple one. Our account management department fulfills many vital functions and responsibilities as they serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and as the liaison for our internal resources and teams.
Account Management Positions
There are several positions within our account management department, and although they share a common goal, each position has its specific responsibilities.
Director of Account Management
The director is accountable for the department’s performance and supports its team as it develops unique client strategies designed to deepen, broaden, and strengthen relationships with our clients.
The director must also work with other departments to create strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams.
In short, the director of account management is responsible for both internal and external client satisfaction and retention.
Account Executives
The account executive is the primary Altus contact for our clients. The position requires a charismatic personality that can cultivate trusting relationships with clients.
One of the primary responsibilities of an account executive is client servicing. This involves becoming an industry subject matter expert (SME).
By keeping track of market trends and the availability of new biologics, the account executive can help clients identify opportunities.
Account Managers
The account manager provides vital support to the account executive and also acts as a liaison to our internal resources and teams. They help solve internal issues and give much-needed assistance to other cross-functional teams.
Additionally, they oversee client reporting and manage account collections.

Jason Hibner

Altus- What inspired you to pursue a career in Account Management?
Jason- I find it’s a happy medium of internal and external duties and communication with the ability to sharpen an array of skills related to business management.
Altus- How has your career in Account Management shaped who you are today?
Jason- It has made me a better listener and increased my ability to build meaningful relationships. I have learned to handle and turn problems and mistakes into learning opportunities.
Altus- What is most exciting about your role as an Account Manager at Altus Infusion?
Jason- Every day is a new day with new challenges and opportunities to shape and build relationships with our clients and internal staff.
Rohit “RJ” Joshi

Altus- What inspired you to pursue a career in Account Management?
RJ- I have always been interested in Healthcare. I’ve wanted to pursue a career as a doctor; however, in my college years, I realized that it would not be feasible for me due to personal reasons.
Altus- How has your career in Account Management shaped who you are today?
RJ- It has allowed me to prioritize tasks and make sure that I am continually following up on my task list. It has allowed me to manage my time better and make sure that I am always productive.
Megan Henley
Client Services Account Manager
Altus- What inspired you to pursue a career in Account Management?
Megan- My inspiration to pursue a career in Account Management started when I was a Patient Advocate. I previously worked with a Client Services Rep and was very impressed with the impact this individual had on resolving the issues with my site. I knew I wanted to be a part of a team that had that much influence and positive reinforcement.
Altus- How has your career in Account Management shaped who you are today?
Megan- This career has provided me the opportunity to…just go for it! I have always second-guessed myself but with the support of my Director, he has shaped me to be more confident in myself professionally which transitioned over personally.
Altus- What is most exciting about part of your role as an Account Manager at Altus Infusion?
Megan- The most exciting part of my role is the constant interaction between multiple departments as well as within my department. No day is the same, every day there is a new challenge and opportunity to learn new things, which is always exciting to me!
