A big round of applause for our latest employee of the month, Sasha Rees!

As an out-of-network specialist, Sasha is an integral member of our team. Her work directly impacts the lives of countless patients who rely on her expertise to process their insurance plan benefits.

Her position involves many responsibilities, which require extraordinary organizational and communication skills.

Among the many duties of an out-of-network specialist, we can list the following:

  • Obtain authorization for all out-of-network treatments
  • Review patient documentation, including orders, and drug changes
  • Investigate insurance benefits for each patient
  • Complete all necessary forms for each patient
  • Communicate with insurance providers to obtain payment for services rendered
  • Appeal any denied claim
Congratulations to Sasha Rees

As you can see from the diverse responsibilities of the position, our out-of-network specialists are individuals with a unique set of skills. Aside from being well-versed in insurance coverage and benefits, our specialists must have excellent communication skills. They must engage patients, answer all their questions, and communicate with our physician partners and insurance providers to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursements.

We are proud of the work every one of our out-of-network specialists does, but we could only pick one individual, and the honor goes to Sasha Rees.
