Happy National Nonprofit Day!
Every year on August 17, we celebrate National Nonprofit Day. Today we reflect on the milestone achievements of all nonprofit organizations we’ve had the honor to work with over the years.
Through their selfless work, nonprofits are helping to make our communities safer, more inclusive, while at the same time raising a voice for those who can’t do it for themselves.
The Nonprofits that Inspire Us to Do Better Every Day
As leaders in the biologic management industry, we have the privilege of working alongside some of the most impactful nonprofit organizations in the field of healthcare.
Altus Biologics supports the efforts of these organizations, both directly and indirectly. We are happy to lend our voice to raise awareness of chronic diseases, the need for further research funding, and treatment accessibility for all patients.
In celebration of National Nonprofit Day, Altus Biologics recognizes the positive impact of these organizations.
National Infusion Center Association (NICA)
Over the last decade, since its creation, the National Infusion Center Association (NICA) has become one the leading nonprofit patient advocacy organizations focused on non-hospital, non-oncology in-office infusion accessibility.
The members of NICA are raising awareness and driving change to improve patient access to chronic disease biologic infusion treatments while at the same time working on concrete ways to ensure the sustainability of the delivery channel across disease states and specialties.
It is a great honor for Altus Biologics to be a part of NICA’s advisory committee. NICA’s leadership helps inspire us to do more and better things for our physician partners and patients.
